Let's get some business sponsorships for our tournament and sign up some people you know who would like to play golf! Please call or email our golf tournament chairperson, Mr. Ed Mushill, at 259-7358 or emushill@cfl.rr.com if you have any questions. EARN MONEY FOR BAND FEES! Our band is relying your help to make the golf tournament a successful fund raiser that will help you raise money for your band fees and help the band purchase all the things that make us great...do your part by participating! Entrance fee includes greens fee, cart and lunch. It will be a day filled with fun and prizes! READ BELOW FOR IMPORTANT DETAILS... GOAL: 80 – 100 golfers Sign up golfers to participate in the tournament. Forms are available on the band web site. GOAL: 1 gift certificate ($20 min) per golfer Contact local merchants such as restaurants, retail stores, lawn maintenance, car detailing, and other businesses for gift certificates that are appropriate for our golfers. The tournament committee will be contacting the golf shops. Certificates should have a minimum value of $20 – $25. Letters to donors are available on the band web site. Please advise Lynne Walker (britus3@aol.com) when you have secured a door prize. It doesn’t hurt to ask a merchant for more than one gift certificate – you will receive credit for each one. GOAL: 36 hole sponsors Contact professional service companies such as lawyers, doctors, dentists, realtors, health care organizations, pest control, lawn maintenance, building suppliers, craftsmen, used car dealers, etc. A hole requires a minimum donation of $100. Forms are available on the band web site. GOAL: 6 Table Sponsors Contact realtors, builders, building suppliers, craftsmen, used car dealers, etc. To sponsor a table where they can interact with golfers and display their wares requires a minimum donation of $150. Forms are available on the band web site. GOAL: 3 Signature Sponsors A signature sponsor requires a minimum donation of $2,000. If you have an individual or business in mind that is a potential signature sponsor, please contact Troy Adams (adams700@bellsouth.net) to coordinate contacting this sponsor. If you are the first one to identify a potential sponsor, you get the right to sign them up as a signature sponsor and receive full credit for their sponsorship. |
